Born in Maleny, 16 December 1962. 1 daughter. Queensland Police Academy Graduate 1989. Bachelor of Human Movement Studies, University of Queensland 1986. Qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanic. Prior to election, served as a Sergeant of Police in the Ethical Standards command of the Queensland Police Force from June 2000. Internationally accredited gymnastic Judge and a nationally accredited gymnastic coach. Served as the Queensland State Gymnastics coach. Interests include: motor sports, sailing, camping, music and Irish history.
