Prior to election – Barrister-at-Law; Former Occupations - Shop Assistant; Articled Law Clerk and Solicitor; Crown Counsel and Acting Attorney-General, Office of Attorney-General, Government of Tuvalu, South Pacific: Solicitor, Crown Law, Queensland Government; Senior Policy Advisor, Queensland Government. Personal interests – All football codes, cricket, music, history (particularly the history of Brisbane’s southside and the history of Queensland), international development issues, volunteering.
