This year, 2005, is the Centenary of Women's Suffrage in Queensland. Events are being organised throughout Queensland around the theme " Celebrate the past, claim the Future" .

As part of its contribution to this significant year, the Queensland Parliament has developed this page of resources to link the general community to information the Parliamentary Library has already collated, and which has been developed especially for this year. Additions will be made during the year.

On 11 May 2005, a permanent educative exhibition was launched in Parliament House and is available for the public to view.
