Explore your Parliament Activities | What I Learnt about Parliament today | State Emblems

The Explore Your Parliament activities have been developed by the Queensland Parliament to provide teachers at all schooling levels with classroom resources to help them teach young people about democracy in Queensland.   Explore Your Parliament has been organised according to the functions of the Parliament:

  • representing the people,
  • making the State Government accountable,
  • passing legislation,
  • and bringing down and passing the Budget. 

A section on E-Democracy has also been included.

The information and activities have been linked with the Queensland State curriculum outcomes and marked as follows:

  1 Primary
  2 Secondary
  3 Tertiary/Teacher Professional Development
  ALL Suitable for all levels.
