Launch of Parliament TV - providing greater accessibility

Parliament TV logo

The live online broadcast of Queensland parliamentary proceedings commenced on 5 June 2007 and has provided Queenslanders with easy access to view the workings of their Parliament for the past ten years.
In order to better serve the changing needs of Queenslanders, 'Parliament TV' was developed to make the broadcast of Parliament more accessible.
'Parliament TV' was launched on 9 May 2017 and now broadcasts the live proceedings of the Queensland Parliament across a range of viewing platforms such as on smartphones, tablets and PCs, as well as on different operating systems such as Android and iOS.

‘Parliament TV’ also allows for the archiving and replay of committee public hearings for a period of 12 months after those proceedings whereas previously, committee hearings were only available for replay for a short period after their live broadcast.

Parliamentary proceedings will continue to be permanently archived and available for replay at any time through the Parliament's 'Record of Proceedings'.

'Parliament TV' can be accessed on the Parliament's website at-
