Brisbane Open House - 12 & 13 October 2013

Brisbane Open House

Parliament House is participating in the Brisbane Open House event again this year.

Brisbane Open House is a free event, providing visitors with the rare opportunity to discover a wealth of architecturally diverse, well-designed and historic buildings in Brisbane. Held over two days on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October, Brisbane Open House 2013 promises to build on the success of last year’s event, with 71 buildings of historic and modern architectural importance included in the program.

Brisbane Open House is an initiative of the Queensland Government Architect in the Department of Housing and Public Works, the Brisbane Development Association and National Trust Queensland, held annually in conjunction with World Architecture Day.

Brisbane Open House visitors will learn more about the participating buildings thanks to some of city’s most respected architects holding special guided tours.
