The 2012 Queensland Indigenous Under 16's rugby league team were presented with their jerseys at Parliament House on 30 January by Speaker John Mickel.

The team played against the New South Wales Indigenous Under 16's side as the opening match at the NRL Indigenous All-Stars match at Skilled Park on the Gold Coast, with the result being a 16-all draw.

The Indigenous Under 16's side was started in 2003 by Mr Neil Appo and Uncle Lionel Morgan with the support of former Rugby League International Tony Currie.
