Mackay Regional Sitting of Parliament

A display at the Mackay Regional Parliament

Educational Displays

A number of educational displays about the Queensland Parliament were contained in the display area inside the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre. These included two new large displays – one on the Legislative Assembly and the other on Queensland’s former Legislature Council – that are now on display in the Annexe foyer at Parliament House. Other displays used at the Mackay sittings were a 'People of Parliament diorama', an interactive sticky wall titled 'If I were a member of Parliament …' where visiting students were able to post messages completing this statement and a stall from the Electoral Commission of Queensland containing information on voting in Queensland.
